Len, me and Jeff Hamby Jeff hired me in July 1965 to work on the SECS program with Marvin Tenberg. SECS stands for Stem Elevated Camera System. The camera was an intensified SEC Vidicon that had full dynamic range in 1⁄4 moonlight. STEM stands for Storable Tubular Extendable Member, a tube that rolled up like film on a reel, but unrolled to form a tube at right angles to the roll. It was aimed for tanks and other military vehicles.
